All too often we hear people say, "Pilates is stretching" or "If I hurt myself, I'll try Pilates". Both are positive, correct statements. But there is so much more to the workout that some people may not know. Pilates exercise is a program designed to stretch, strengthen and balance the body. Instead of isolating muscles, the whole body is trained as a unit, integrating the upper and lower extremities through a solid core, to create a whole, strong and lean body. This intelligent method of training rewards you with flatter abdominals, healthy posture and strength from the inside out. Many students claim that a Pilates workout leaves them feeling refreshed and rejuvenated - is your current workout doing that for you?

**Schedule is subject to change, with changing enrollment**

ESSENTIAL - Emphasis on mastery of essential series of exercises, concentrating on correct form and posture. Appropriate for beginning students, or those experienced students wishing to achieve an effective workout that accommodates all fitness levels.
LEVEL 2 - A class that incorporates some of the intermediate exercises and more difficult variations of the essential series, with more challenge to core strength and stability, and emphasizing control and form.
LEVEL 3 - The most challenging exercises, requiring a high level of stability and control. For the most experienced students only, with a strong, working knowledge of the basic exercises.

*All NEW students must have orientation instruction in Pilates fundamentals on Reformer. Contact the Pilates studio for details.

Cancellation Policy: If for any reason you are unable to attend your session, please give us at least 24 hours advance notice so we may accommodate our wait list. Any sessions missed without prior notice will be considered forfeit.

Penny's background and experience allow her to focus on training the body as a strong, integrated unit. With a strong background in anatomy and physiology, and an acute postural awareness, Penny's interest is in assisting clients in overcoming pain and misalignment, correcting unhealthy movement patterns and improving athletic performance.

Kimberly's interest and training in all modalities of the Pilates Method, brings a well-rounded approach to incorporating the fundamentals of Pilates exercise to all movement. As a true devotee to Pilates exercise, Kimberly's classes are fun, challenging and multi-dimensional, with a real focus on strengthening the body from the inside out.

Her teaching style in encouraging and knowledgable, gentle but challenging, relaxing and energizing.
