Franco's Personal Trainers are highly qualified, competent professionals who are passionate about helping you achieve your goals. All of our trainers maintain our standard of excellence by fulfilling our basic requirements. Our Master trainers have completed additional certifications and offer more years of experience, as the chart below shows:

Expert Trainers:
» Certified by a nationally accredited organization.
» Maintain continuing education credits within current certifications.
» At least one year of experience with individual or small group exercise program design and implementation

Master Trainers:
» Hold two or more nationally recognized certifications.
» Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in a health related field.
» Maintain continuing education credits within current certifications.
» Three or more years of experience working with individual or small group exercise program design and implementation.

Please note: You must purchase the training package that corresponds to the level of your trainer. Our Fitness Director will be happy to help you select a trainer who best suits your needs.

Shea Garrison

Shea writes a weekly column, The Right Tone, for the New Orleans Times-Picayune. Along with her column, Shea writes regular features for the front page of the paper's Living Section and is shown in photographic fitness spreads. Shea has also been featured in issues of Shape magazine and its international counterparts. She is often featured on local news shows (such as WWL-TV CH 4 and ABC 26) and quoted by area newspaper, magazine and television reporters on all fitness- and health-related subjects.

Shea's Body Blast is a successful body-sculpting work-out program, which Shea designed, choreographed and still regularly teaches. It has been taught for the past 7 years in six locations across New Orleans and soon will be offered exclusively at Franco's in Mandeville.

As much as she enjoys all these activities, Shea's first love is helping her clients solve their fitness problems in a balanced, enjoyable way. As a personal trainer she specializes in creating programs to meet the unique needs of each client regardless of age, fitness level, health status or goals.

Brandt is our Performance Training Specialist. His extensive experience training athletes of all ages and abilities makes sport performance enhancement fun and effective. Brandt trains men, women and children. >From power lifting to stabilization, speed, agility, and muscle building, Brandt offers a comprehensive approach to health and fitness.

Robert brings a new dynamic to the Franco's training team. He is a national level bodybuilder and specializes in the training of clients who wish to pack on hard lean muscle and present a physique that shows what hard work and dedication can do for a body. Robert has won numerous body building championships and is one of the most recognized bodybuilders in the Gulf South.




Corey Fabre

Corey prides himself on training those individuals seeking to lose excess body fat and tone problem target areas. Corey has expertise in educating his clients in proper diet and exercise, dangers of excess body fat, guilt-free eating strategies, and altering lifestyle patterns. While working as a Business Systems Analyst, Jackie participated in the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Team in Training program. As a team mentor for Team in Training, she raised thousands of dollars for leukemia research and provided support and coaching assistance to several athletes training for the Maui Triathlon and St. Anthony's Triathlon. After those life-altering accomplishments, she decided to change careers to become a Personal Trainer in order to help others achieve their personal goals. Jackie's approach is to help people of all ages and fitness levels find their inner athlete. Through the use of heart rate monitor training, Jackie can determine the zones that are right for you and turn every workout into an efficient and effective one. She can help you transform your eating habits so that you are supplementing your training instead of sabotaging it.

As a 4.0 rated tennis player, runner, and triathlete, Jackie trains athletes for the big competition as well as helping non-athletic people get stronger and drop excess weight. She has studied and trained menopausal women that find their body compositions changing, and she knows the right exercises to make them feel stronger and fitter than they have in years. As a group fitness instructor and Zumba Latin dance teacher, Jackie knows that the treadmill isn't the only way to do cardio, and she can introduce you to fun and different ways to work out that will keep you motivated and excited about your fitness.

No matter what your fitness level, Shelly can provide a workout along with helpful hints on nutrition that will deliver the results you are looking for.




Donna Blossman

» AFAA Certified Personal Trainer

Donna has a passion for living a healthy lifestyle through proper nutrition, cardio and weight training and just being good to your body. She has a can do attitude, and believes that you can do anything you set your mind to. This attitude allowed her to qualify for and finish the Boston marathon (2005) and win the Crescent City Classic in the women's masters' category (2005) and place in many triathlons across the Gulf Coast. Because of Donna's sincere care and concern for her clients, she is dedicated to motivating them to achieve any of their fitness goals, and she's ready to help make them happen for you!




Chris Perez

Chris is a true athlete with a background in almost every sport and has done martial arts for years. He has always enjoyed working out and helping others achieve their fitness goals. Chris is also a student at Southeastern Louisiana University studying Athletic Training and is looking to extend his education further through other certifications. His main focus is on strength and conditioning with a strong motivational personality. Chris has the ability to make your training experience effective, yet FUN!

Erin Hayward

With almost two decades of experience in the fitness industry, Erin has had the opportunity to train a wide variety of clients, and she has developed professional relationships with area physicians, chiropractors, and physical therapists.

Erin's training style is to motivate with encouragement and support. She will assist you in setting realistic and achievable goals. Her training philosophy is one that utilizes functional strength, as well as core strength and stabilization techniques ~ this translates into the enduring strength we need for our day-to-day lives. As a woman in her 40's, Erin understands the hormonal issues that many women are facing today, and she can help you transition through this natural aging process. Through education on proper nutrition, stress reduction techniques, efficient aerobic and strength training programs, Erin's clients are able to achieve optimal results by learning to live a healthy and balanced lifestyle.




Donna Wrobel

Donna first started in physical fitness when it was still in its infancy. There were few people Donna could turn to for assistance in helping her reach her goals without injury. Donna then decided to make physical fitness my life's work and passion. Donna started by teaching aerobics, then Step classes, spinning classes and eventually found her way into the weight room. Donna has first hand experience with the benefits of weight training and how it changed her body and overall health. Donna's goal is to use this experience along her knowledge and expertise to help as many people as she can. Donna finds it very rewarding to help others reach their goals and obtain what they thought was once impossible. Donna has been instructing group exercise since 1985.
