In class, you learn how to:
Respond to emergencies with first aid, rescue breathing and more
»Make good decisions under pressure
»Communicate effectively with parents
»Recognize safety and hygiene issues
»Manage young children
»Feed, diaper and care for infants
»Start your babysitting business
Please wear comfortable clothing and bring lunch for both days (or money for lunch at the Grille). Meet upstairs in Franco's conference room.
Participants must be 11 years of age by the last day of the course you are taking to receive a certificate for American Red Cross Babysitter's Training. This age was selected as most states require children to be 11 before they can be left alone for short periods without adult supervision.
