Aquire a quiet spirit through a series of steps on a gentle path to fitness. Training does not include rough contact or brute force, but when applied results in a powerful self defense. Shotokan Karate For ages 8 and up Traditional karate training emphasizing balance, timing, distance, focus, and control via Kata (pre-arranged moves), Kihon (basics), and kumite (sparring).
