-- Weekly workout schedule -- Weekly lectures/seminars/workshops -- Nutritional support -- Tracking Journal and Weekly Weigh-Ins -- Win Fabulous Prizes...really Fabulous! This is how it works: Each participant was teamed up with a small group of others and a Personal Trainer that can train during that same time. The other 4 days you have a schedule for other activities such as classes that are already on the group exercise schedule, special classes that will be added to the schedule specifically for this program such as Boot Camp, and some fee-based classes that are INCLUDED FREE such as TRX Suspension Training classes, Cardio Tennis, Calorie Crusher Personal Trainer workout, Pilates and much more! No fears, the weigh ins are PRIVATE! They are not shown on a big screen like the Biggest Loser. Your weight and body fat % are added to the rest of your group and put on the big tracking board in the lobby. Your measurements are kept private! There are no tribal councils or elimination ceremonies! You will work as a team to drop the most body fat % in 10 weeks. If you are gone for a week, such as Easter/Spring Break, we will just use your last weigh in, it will all even out in the end!

PAST CLUB EVENTS REVIEW: NEW YEARS DAY ICE MAN DIP & DASH 2010 review: Friday, January 1st at 11am This year started off with a chilly start (48 degrees with 46 degree water)! 37 brave souls, including the youngest boy to participate (Marcus Leydecker alongside his father, James) ran 1.5 miles west on Hwy 22, across the Madisonville bridge and dipped into 46 degree water to swim 70 yards across to the east side before heading back to the club. This year we "timed" a few participants in order for them keep track and attempt to beat their time year after year. Runner's Choice was on hand with volunteers. Red Beans and Rice along with Q50 Coffee was enjoyed by all at the end. Pictures and article will be up on this site by next week! 2010 Ice Man finishers: Thomas Boudreaux (28 min, 13 sec), Ryan Blake (28 min, 53 sec), Christian Lebreton (29 min, 10 sec), Ron Piret (30 min, 1 sec), Karl Cavaretta, David Coffey, Jonathan Cooper, Blake Cretin, Steve Dubuc, Scott Durman, Brandon Guerra, Paul Jones, Dan King, Tony LeMon, James and Marcus Leydecker, Dan Martin, Warren Montgomery, Amanda Pace, David Richardson, Jody Richardson, Jerry Rivera, James Rozycki, Beau Spath, Pawel Szumski, Don Trexler, Morten Wiese, Greg Williams, Michael Zachman, Trevor Colbert and Ron Franco. The 9th Annual Dip & Dash will be held Saturday, January 1st, 2011- start training now! This was not a race but a challenging survival event including a 4 mile run and approximately 70 yard "ice" swim. History of event: In 1988 a small group of athletes embarked on a New Years Day run only to be thwarted by the Madisonville bridge mechanical malfunction. Frustration and a cold northern wind forced a call to action. The group swam the Tchefuncte River, fighting hypothermia and refusing to be impreded by any obstacle, even 49 degrees water. Hence, the Ice Man Dip & Dash was born. $30 registration. All proceeds will benefit Franco's United Charities Fund and the Donnie Jarrell Fund. 2009 Photos:
