Schooners Summer Swim Team
FRANCO's Schooners is a recreational summer swim team that participates in the Scenic River Swim Association. Our summer program is designed for diverse ability and motivational levels to give each individual a unique swimming experience.
The program offers superior stroke instruction with a focus on improvement and having fun. The Schooners compete against local swim teams in West St. Tammany Parish. The staff is committed to giving each participant the positive benefits swimming can offer.

Cost Franco's members: $185 for one swimmer, $330 for two swimmers, $495 for three or more swimmers.
Non-member fees: $215 for one swimmer, $380 for two swimmers, and $575 for three or more swimmers.
Meet fees: Championship meets extra.
Suits & T-shirts: Team suits are $50 (female), $35 (male). The team suit must be worn at the swim meets.
T-shirts are optional: $15/shirt
A swim cap will be provided at the first meet.

2008 Practice Schedule:
Beginning Monday, May 19th
Monday - Thursday 6:40pm - 7:40pm
Beginning Monday, May 26th adding the morning practice also:
Monday - Friday 9am - 10am
Practice 2 weeks after Championship...to the end of July!

FINS Assistant Swim Coach
Perry swam competitively for 13 years from age 8 through college. She had a 4 year swimming scholarship at Tulane University. She taught swimming lessons and coached summer league for 8 years and has been a Fins coach for one year. Perry has 2 young children, a son and daughter (Henry and Elizabeth). She is a registered dietician with a masters in Public Health from Tulane School of Public Health. As a swimmer she competed in Senior Nationals and currently competes in triathlons.

FINS Assistant Swim Coach
Courtney Brown joins the FINS swim staff with 10 years of coaching experience as Asst. Coach of the Elmwood Sharks, Asst Coach of Archbishop Rummel High School, Head Coach of the Elmwood Fitness Center summer swim team and Driftwood Country Club swim team. Courtney has been swimming since he was four and has been a top age group swimmer all the way to his senior year in high school. He is currently a triathlete who competes on a National level and is focused on becoming pro in the near future.
Courtney is currently employed as Our Lady of the Lake's full time youth minister. He and his wife Kelley, are extremely proud parents of their two beautiful daughters (Malia and Gianna). One of the things Courtney brings to the staff is not only experience but a fun and joyous environment for the swimmers!
